Happy Easter, Happy Passover, Blessed Ramadan, and Yummy National Chicken Cordon Bleu Day! It is time for my weekly check-in. This week has not been great. After I got home from Death Valley, I got so incredibly ill. Let’s just say, the North and South were having an epic battle. It was a scorched earth situation. So, you would think, “Hey LLC, great weight loss!” Freakin’ no! I actually GAINED weight. UGH… It took the rest of the week for my body to regulate. So, I am now, exactly where I started last week.
I am making a commitment to myself that I will loose 10 pounds this month. So, I am working to stay mindful of my food intake and activity. It is already Summer here. Seriously, today it is over 90 degrees. So, early AM walks are commencing. I need to be up at 5:30 to get the walk, shower, eat, and log-in to work.
I also finished the coursework for the Health and Wellness Coach. I am starting the review for the certification exam. I am hoping to start it on April 16, and finish it that weekend. Then, I start the Weigh-loss and Nutrition class.
Last night was amazing. It was the first night of normalcy in a long time. Two vaccinated friends came over. We ordered Thai food in and talked. We also watch the 2012 arena-tour of Jesus Christ Superstar with Tim Minchin. (I am re-watching it now.) It was great to have other energy in Hobbit Hole. Hazel was actually social and okay with them. I am thrilled. She is not quite used to anyone but me. Slowly, she will start meeting my friends.
I really don’t have much else. Just have a wonderful day. And please remember to be kind.
