241.2 pounds
Well, another week has flown by, and I am still in the 240s. Last week I weighed in at 241.6, and this week 241.2. What is interesting is that on Monday, I started to gain and was at 246, then the weight began to drop. So, I am .4 pound less than last week. I am happy about releasing the .4 pounds.
I am also eating well and got a lot of miles in this week. However, my new Brooks caused a blister and my foot really hurts. So, I am giving myself a rest weekend. It doesn’t mean I won’t be active, I just won’t be walking 4.5 miles this weekend.
I am seeing some psoriasis breakthrough. Snarl. It is almost time for my shot. I have ordered the next one. It should be here next week. I do have one in the fridge. I am going to use it tonight. I am scheduled to get the 2nd dose of the COVID vaccine next Saturday. I have been doing a lot of research, and the latest from the Arthritis Foundation is that people on biologics should keep to their regular schedule. So, that is plan. I know that I will not have full protection, but some is better than none. And also it can reduce the severity if I get it.

What is new in my little world? I am excited that I am posting recipes again. I hope this means I am getting out of the funk in which I seem to have been wallowing. Here is one for Lentil Quinoa Stew and another for a Blueberry Oatmeal Bake.
YIPES! Now what am I supposed to do? Meowma!!!!!! And I thanked Meowma by clawing her face off!
Well, Las Meninas is here! I am rearranging furniture and will be hanging it this afternoon. Why am I rearranging furniture? Because Hazels go up and can’t figure out how to get down. So, I am creating safe paths for the Furry-But-Not-So-Smart Overlord can get up and down without taking out my face. Yes, it hurt.
On a better note, I am also blessed that some friends have asked for my support in their efforts to get healthy. I am honored to do so. I am always happy to support my friends, especially since they have supported me through so much in my life, including this 51-week journey. Yes, next Saturday will be ONE YEAR of focusing on me, my life, and getting it sailing upright. I can honestly say I am happy about the changes. Full re-cap next week.
I am off to the grocery store. Then I will be studying this morning. It is a cruel, crazy, beautiful world out there! Please remember to be kind, especially to yourself.
