Yesterday was actually far busier than I expected. I was up at 5 and walked the four-mile route. It is sweltering, and we are getting some humidity. So, I was exhausted by the time I was finished. I made breakfast, blogged, and then I napped. I dropped by to see some friends. We had a nice conversation in the driveway. YAY! COVID! Sigh. I can’t wait for some semblance of the old normal again. I miss my friends. Then I went grocery shopping, and also, I started laundry.
Today was an early morning, not by choice mind you. Hazel wanted a snuggle. So, I got up at 4:30 and was on the trail by 5. I walked longer than I usually do, but it was still almost bearable. And I did my arm workout. Then I took my nap. Again.
I am still tired. I think exhaustion and the heat are catching up with me. So, today is a pretty small day. I am doing laundry, reading, and hanging out with Hazel. I am hosting a Norwex party online. So, I am checking in on that. If you want to join, let me know. I am doing some reading and working on the SWOT analysis for my business plan. I hope to have that part of the business plan drafted by the end of my extended weekend. (No, not to sell Norwex, but to launch a nutrition/wellness business.)
I am thrilled that I am almost back to my previous weight. I am .8 away from 60 lbs and 2.8 from my second goal–again. I love my Renpho scale. I love data, even if I don’t know what to do with it. Oh! Oh! Oh! I got my jeans from Old Navy! I bought two pairs, one in 22 and the other in 20. These are not stretchy jeans. I fit very comfortably in the 22’s. Woo hoo! I started this journey wearing 28 very stretchy jeans.
I am thinking about some air filters as well. The smoke from the California fires has wafted into the So. Nevada valley. It actually happens regularly. And the valley has its own smog issues. I think it will be helpful.
I hope you all are doing well and your weekend is awesome.
