Well, YAY! for me. I lurched myself out of bed this morning, and I walked. Sunday is one of my built-in rest days. Most weeks, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, are much shorter walks about 2.5 miles. Most of the time, I also do some arm weights; however, about halfway around the trail, I had to get home. Ahem, if you know what I mean. BTW–the logic is not, abdominal massage then walk. Noooo…Reverse that. Whew.
For the first day in a week, I feel like I am in the land of the living, and I even got my coffee made. (I didn’t get that far yesterday.)
Yesterday, I did get up and walk about 4.5 miles. Eating wise, I did okay. I didn’t get breakfast because I slept instead. I made cauliflower/corn soup, which I had for lunch. And I will probably have for lunch today too. (Just an aside, I love my Pampered Chef Cooking Blender. I just put everything it in and to does all the work. If you are interested in one, you can order here.)
I did go to my parents for dinner. Mom made burritos, chicken/green chili enchiladas, and gazpacho–yum! I ate appropriately. Now, I did have some German chocolate cake and ice cream. But we did kinda celebrate Dad’s and my birthday (on the 8.25 I will be 52). So, I am proud that I did well.
I am contemplating trying the anti-inflammatory diet; however, Arthritis Foundation recommends the opposite. So, still thinking. But since cooking is an issue, I ordered 5 meals from FoodieFit. I will let you know how it goes.
I am starting to tire. I am going to feed a Hazel and nap for a bit. I am hoping to get some reading done later today.
Wishing you peace and good health!
