I was informed that I am not honoring Hazel enough, YAY! for Caturday!
So, yesterday was not the best day for me. I was pretty shaken after the doctor’s appointment. I know that psoriasis is a skin thing, but it can be much more. If psoriatic arthritis is causing my inflammation, swelling, and pain, a diagnosis means a treatment path. It is also just one more freaking medical issue that I have to manage. And I manage a lot. But, I am back and almost in sorts. Almost.
But I am very excited. I weighed in at 266.1 today–a 6.2-pound reduction from last week. WHOA! Shock! I have released a total of 56.9 pounds. I have 5.1 pounds to reach my next goal. I keep moving closer. This is the lowest I have been since I moved home. I am excited. If you would like to see my progress from March, click here.
I also walked 10k steps today-ON PURPOSE! When I make 10k, it is usually by accident. But I was feeling good and healthy. So…I went for it. I am feeling better about going hiking in the fall.
I also learned the Old Navy has fat people clothes–so, cheap clothes during this transition. YAY! I don’t want to spend a lot on clothes while I am losing. Working from home and not traveling makes casual clothing choices so much easier. I only have to look professional from the waist up…some days.
How are you doing? I would love to hear about your week!
